May 15 (weekend after Mother's Day), Join us for our Second Annual Mother's Day Gardening Event!

Updated: May 7, 2022

Starting in 2021, we started hosting garden-themed Mother's day events. Last year (2021) we had a blast building an elevated garden bed, kids craft, learning how to transplant, and how to prepare soil. Check out last year's event here.

This year the event will be held at Uncle Dan and Yoko's house in Cambrian Park.

Location: Dan & Yoko's Garden (address provided after registration)

Date: Sunday, May 15th, 2022.

Cost: Free

Time: 10am-12pm

Perhaps you've enjoyed some of their summer squash (below) that they brought to church last summer?

This, weekend after Mother's Day (May 15th), come out and enjoy Christian fellowship learning about God's plans and how to start and maintain your garden. We'll cover the following topics of gardening with a hands-on transplanting that you can take home.

  1. Overview of 'How to build a raised bed'

  2. What kinds of timed/wifi irrigation systems are available

  3. What to add to dirt to have rich nutrient rich growing soil

  4. How to grow from seed and how to save seeds (by Uncle Jeff)

To RSVP, register here and we'll email you the address! Looking forward to seeing you there.
