Pastor
Bryan Bong
Pastor Bryan Bong was born and raised in South Korea. He earned his bachelor’s degree in theology from Sahmyook University and his Master of Divinity from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University.
In 2012, he served as a singing missionary with the Golden Angels, a ministry of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division. Through this ministry, he traveled and served in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Russia, and Ukraine. This experience deepened his conviction that the gospel belongs to no single language or culture, but is good news for all people.
Pastor Bryan has served the Central California Conference both as a pastor and as Assistant Director of Communication. He now serves as pastor of the Mountain View Japanese and San Francisco Japanese Seventh-day Adventist churches.
His ministry is guided by a simple calling: to be rooted in the Word and sent on mission. He and his wife, Yeji, are grateful to serve and worship alongside their two children, Caleb and Chloe.
